What was your first job in the realty industry? Working as an agent with the Hopkins Team; that was quite a few years ago.
Where did you grow up? I grew up in Fort Lauderdale, my grandfather moved his family there in 1942 and worked as a builder throughout the county.
Growing up, what did you want to be? I wanted to help people by working for the Peace Corps.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Read, I love reading books that help to center me and bring understanding to the human spirit.
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Mother Teresa because she was such an incredible and selfless woman. My second choice would be Lady Diana because she was such a genuine person.
Where is your favorite place to hang out? Anywhere my friends and family are, especially when it’s around the dinner table.
What do you love most about the industry? Helping people, home ownership is such a huge part of everyone’s quality of life.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? There is a small difference between great and excellent, I strive to be excellent. I also strive to be a truly concierge service for all my customers.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? What is difficult and challenging is negotiating both sides through the inspection issues that often are a part of every sale.
