Alexandra Elfmont joined Compass Florida as director of operations, leaving her position as executive vice president at Engel & Volkers Miami.

In this new role, a new one for Compass also, Elfmont will lead agent operations, product experts, listings and transaction teams across the state. She will also serve as the point of contact for new agents. Elfmont will also manage the 11-agent listing and transactions team.

During her time with Engel & Volkers Miami, Elfmont helped guide recruitment, sales management, mergers and acquisitions and worked closely with the brokerage’s license partner and president, Irving Pardon.

Elfmont said she has followed Compass’ growth in the past few years. The firm has raised $1.2 billion from investors and continues their expansion nationwide by hiring agents and acquiring firms. Compass has also recently partnered with insurance provider Cigna to allow agents to purchase a healthcare plan.
