Real estate firm Compass announced June 15 its acquisition of ICS Realty, a boutique brokerage based in Aventura, Florida. The move expands Compass’s presence in the Miami and South Florida markets, where it already has four offices, and helps it grow its roster of agents.

“ICS Realty’s excellent reputation and proven track record were very attractive to us as we were looking to deepen our presence in South Florida,” said Beth Butler, general manager of Compass Florida in a news release. “This is a great opportunity to tap into ICS’ resources and knowledge of the Aventura market. We look forward to having this talented group of professionals on board.”

Maintaining its Aventura office space, ICS Realty will rebrand as Compass Aventura and take advantage of the company’s real estate technology platform which “supports the entire buying and selling workflow” for Compass agents, according to a news release.
