Real Estate Agent and Certified Residential Appraiser

In the past year, Frank Costa has had a lot to celebrate: It only took him 22 days to sell a property at Gables by the Sea, where the average time on market is six months, and he flipped an eight-unit building in Midtown at a 60 percent profit margin.
Costa, an agent and certified residential appraiser, has worked in the industry for 15 years. He still owns and operates the appraisal company he founded in 2007, but three years ago, he became a real estate associate. “The pricing of real estate and land is one of the more difficult and most important aspects of selling real estate,” he says. “My extensive and diverse knowledge of appraising properties really sets me apart.”
His main focus is on listing residential and commercial properties in the tri-county area and upper Keys, with a strong presence in Palmetto Bay, Cutler Bay and Pinecrest. He also assists clients with rentals and leasing. He recently entered the luxury market and is now working on hiring assistants and building a team.
Costa’s consistent increases in sales volume each year mean many consider him a rising star. YES Real Estate has recognized him with multiple awards, including 2018 Top Producer, Circle of Excellence, 2018 Diamond Level in Sales, 2017 Circle of Excellence and 2016 Rookie of the Year. “I will continue to strive to be the best I can be while continuing my journey in personal and company growth,” he says.
Costa studied architecture in college and had the privilege of working with the architect who designed Jungle Island. “My love for architecture will always be embedded in me and helps me a great deal,” he says.
Maintaining a delicate balance in his appraisal and sales endeavors while raising two daughters has its challenges, he says, “but it’s worth every headache.”
