A successful sole practitioner, Berk Boge has worked in real estate for 22 years. He’s been named top listing agent of the year for 19 consecutive years by the two companies he’s worked with and is known by his peers in the industry as “Mr. Coconut Grove.”
“I provide personalized service to each and every one of my clients,” says Boge, director of sales for Miami Real Estate Company. He assists foreign and domestic sellers, buyers, builders and developers. His decades of experience have made him an expert in Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Key Biscayne, Brickell Avenue, Pinecrest, South Miami, High Pines, Palmetto Bay, Shenandoah, Silver Bluff, Miami Beach and Bay Harbor.
Boge has consistently been named a top producer in the markets he serves — no small feat for a sole practitioner. He networks and keeps up on industry trends through memberships in the Master Brokers Forum, Top Agents of South Florida, and local and national Realtors associations.
Boge’s professional career began as a basketball coach for European league teams before he made the switch to teaching marketing and consumer behavior classes, all while working as a squash professional at various clubs. “I am a big fan of endurance sports, such as running, biking, swimming, triathlons, golfing and hiking,” he says.
Landing a job as office manager of a real estate firm in Coconut Grove ignited Boge’s interest in the industry, which allows him to apply the skills he learned while earning his undergraduate degree in business administration and later his MBA. “Understanding consumer behavior as a result of formal education in this field has been very instrumental,” he says.
Clients applaud Boge’s work ethic, communication skills, availability and upbeat attitude. He lives in Coconut Grove with his wife, Laurie, an emergency physician, and their two rescue dogs: a greyhound named Olive and a Vizsla named Meb.
