Frank James Potamos
Real Estate Sales Associate & For-Sale-By-Owner Specialist
Elite Ocean View Realty

Frank James Potamos has no doubt he was born to sell real estate. As a sales associate and for-sale-by-owner specialist with Elite Ocean View Realty, he assists a variety of clients, ranging from luxury buyers and sellers to investors, in Miami Beach, Coral Gables and Coconut Grove.

Before joining the real estate industry three years ago, Potamos worked for almost a decade as a senior currency processing specialist for the Federal Reserve, before eventually deciding that he craved a career to which there were no limits on what he could achieve. “Real estate has opened so many doors for me that I never knew existed — and for the first time, I found something I was not only passionate about, but that will return what I put in,” he says.

Specializing in for-sale-by-owner clients, Potamos is eager to help both first-time and experienced homeowners sell their properties for the most amount of money in the least amount of time. “Being able to step in and help people is gratifying, especially those with full-time jobs who are taking care of their children and juggling it all while trying to sell their home on their own,” he says, adding that he’s earned a number of referrals from clients who appreciate his professionalism and attentiveness, as well as his approachability and confidence.

As Potamos’ business has developed, he’s been able to provide opportunities for career growth to new agents at his office, letting them take the lead on showings, open houses, walkthroughs and reports. “Not only did this buy more time for me to focus on additional projects, this gave newer agents a chance to get their feet wet, closing some of their first deals, which was truly rewarding,” he says.

Potamos is a member of the Miami Association of Realtors and was recognized as Elite Ocean View Realty’s Most Improved Agent in 2017. In his downtime, he enjoys unwinding with family and friends, traveling the world and taking his rescue dog out for an early-morning run to catch the sunrise.
