Senior Loan Officer

Movement Mortgage

Growing up in Massachusetts in a family of entrepreneurs, Senior Loan Officer Danielle Damianov knew she would one day be in business for herself. She just didn’t realize it would be real estate. Damianov graduated with a B.S. in business management from Bentley University in 2001 and then moved from Boston to Florida, where she began her career in the mortgage business as a loan officer.

Over the past 17 years, Damianov has been involved in all aspects of the mortgage and real estate industries. She started as a mortgage broker in 2001, received her real estate license in 2002 and then her real estate broker’s license in 2005. At the age of 25, she opened up her own real estate and mortgage companies and was the broker for both. In 2008, when the market shifted, she decided to go full time into real estate.

As a Realtor, she has won many awards as a top agent. She was featured in Top Agent Magazine in December 2015, achieved Chairman’s Club status with EWM Realty, was a contributing author in the book “Local Einsteins: What to Know About Buying or Selling a Home in Miami,” and was involved in Mike Ferry coaching for six years to perfect her skills in real estate. Although Damianov loved the real estate side of the business, she had been longing to get back into mortgages. “I had been approached by a few mortgage lenders to work for them. It wasn’t until I found Movement Mortgage that I was ready to make the change,” she says.

Throughout Damianov’s career, her tenacity has been pivotal to her success. “I grew up in a hardworking family where my parents owned many restaurants and businesses in Massachusetts,” says Damianov. “I know the hustle and I know how to work. I make things happen and get things done.”

Damianov credits that hustle and the Movement Mortgage process for much of her success. She closed just under $10 million in mortgages in eight months, with $4 million currently pending. She cites her ability to think outside the box and her willingness to go above and beyond for her clients as her competitive advantage. Her real estate background gives her perspective on both sides of the transaction. She says her strong communication skills, empathy, and passion for her job are what her clients remember about her.

Damianov is a graduate of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Committee and loves to give back to her community, including making donations to the National Association of Mental Illness. When she is not at work, she’s spending time with her husband and kids, traveling the world, horseback riding, shopping, dining, practicing yoga and reading.
