His numerous awards in partnership with the Nancy Batchelor Team include ranking in EWM Realty International’s Chairman’s Club Diamond Level for the past three consecutive years with total sales exceeding $255 million. Moreover, he and the team have boasted the highest number of units closed in Miami Beach in recent years, a true testament to the talent Salas brings to the premier agency. With professional expertise, unparalleled knowledge of the city’s neighborhoods and bilingualism – Juan is fluent in Spanish and English – it’s no wonder that his is a career that shines even brighter 20 years after first entering the industry.

A Miami native, Juan previously worked servicing loans and managing escrow accounts for loans that included short sales and foreclosures. Given his background and financial expertise, the transition to a career in real estate was a natural one. He is adept at helping motivated sellers, luxury homebuyers, property investors and anyone else who needs help making financial sense of the market. “I do it all,” he laughs, “because one needs to be versatile. Miami is such a hot market, and people want to own a piece of it, so I aim to help make that happen as best I can. That means I have to be flexible in order to offer my clients the most outstanding service possible.”

With the city in such high demand, Juan finds that the biggest challenge he faces is balancing criteria and budget to find the ideal property for each client given their individual needs. “I interview my clients first so that I know exactly what they’re looking for, and then I continue to interview them throughout the homebuying process so that the data can guide me,” he explains. “In my opinion, that’s the key to success – not my professional success, but the success I feel when people find the perfect place to call home.” This includes the $14 million waterfront estate property he helped sell, a highly intricate transaction that required extreme care and close attention at every step. “There were so many details involved with that sale that I’m thankful for my years of experience and problem solving abilities, because they resulted in an extremely happy client!” he says.

The proud father of two daughters – one who recently earned a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Florida, and another who is currently enrolled at the same school – Juan holds a Graduate, Realtor Institute designation, as well as membership in the Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches. He credits his children for inspiring him both personally and professionally, including his desire to continue making people’s wishes become a reality. “My mission is to find people the kind of home they’ve always dreamed of, because I love to see people’s dreams come true. Nothing in the world beats that feeling.”
