Time is a precious commodity for Jill Penman, a working mother of four. The principal of the Jill Penman Group knows that her clients share this sentiment, so she strives to find buyers the perfect home quickly and on budget. She optimizes her marketing to move sellers’ property with the shortest market time at the highest price. To date, her transactions total over $125 million, a testament to her ability to give every client a great real estate experience.

Penman’s real estate career was born out of her relocation from Chicago to Miami, where positions in her former field – high-end software sales – were limited. Her unique skill set allowed for a natural transition to residential sales at Coldwell Banker.  As Penman recalls, she spent her early years learning the business while she worked as a team member for a top producer.  “I trained through hands-on experience,” she remembers.  “I worked on every aspect of the business, including showing homes, overseeing inspections, guiding appraisals, hosting open houses and hanging signs.”  Penman leveraged her experience to strengthen her already stellar client care services and perfect the art of selling her own listings.

A Coconut Grove resident, Penman specializes in real estate in her own community as well as in Coral Gables, Key Biscayne, Miami Beach, Pinecrest and South Miami.  She describes herself as “addicted” to her work; a result of Penman’s passion for meeting clients’ needs with exceptional service, which her reputation makes clear.  In addition to being recruited by luxury brokerage ONE Sotheby’s International Realty in 2013, Penman placed as a finalist for 2014’s “Residential Real Estate Agent” in the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s Real Estate Summit and South Florida Real Estate Achievers and Leaders (R.E.A.L.) Awards. Residential real estate website Trulia also includes her on its prestigious “Best of Trulia” list, thanks to her outstanding sales performance and ranking among its top 1 percent of agents.  And major developers, like award-winning Mateu Architecture and AJP Ventures, frequently request that she represent their new development and construction projects.

Characterized by clients as “top-notch,” Penman’s imaginative marketing strategies include generating social media buzz for her listings and producing lifestyle videos that showcase what both Miami and a for-sale property offer.  But still, this busy mom believes that her ability to create a personal connection with clients makes a meaningful difference. “Clients recognize that I’m very knowledgeable, a skilled negotiator and highly intuitive when it comes to pricing and buying a listing, but all of that said, I think people can relate to me because I’m just like them –  with kids and a family.”
