Agent Snapshot: Christopher Lardner, Realtor, Chris Lardner Group – Charter Realty Partners

What was your most interesting job before going into real estate? Personal trainer

Where did you grow up? Miami

Growing up, what did you want to be? A football player or a business owner

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Work out, read, and journal.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Elon Musk — he is so intriguing, I feel like he would blow my mind.

Where is Miami’s best-kept secret? Coconut Grove Organic Market on Saturdays

What do you love most about the industry? I love to sell, and I love that our income potential is limitless.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? The patience that is required to close a deal. No transaction is ever completely smooth and sometimes things are out of your control.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads? Branding — I’ve been huge on that as of late. Our world is slowly creeping into making everything digital, and I feel like us millennials should be taking advantage of our tech savviness and dominate the online world.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately? Watching: Community (Netflix); reading: Sell or be Sold by Grant Cardone; listening to: Tim Ferris podcasts.

What’s your favorite meal in Miami? A French dip sandwich from Hillstone in Coral Gables.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Miami? ZOI House, which is opening next month in the Grove. I’m a bit biased, as I am part of the development team.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job? I get hit on a lot… by guys, girls too; they have sent me some disturbing photos while on the clock.

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you? I’m not white; I speak Spanish.

What’s your favorite vacation spot and why? Colorado — skiing is extremely fun and a nice change of scenery.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Just do it, commit 100% to your craft.

Who are your favorite people to follow on social media? For real estate advice: @Martyfox01, for laughs: @lilduval, for branding advice: @thebranddr and for inspiration: @tonyrobbins.
