Making Moves: Douglas Elliman honors top Florida producers, ONE Sotheby’s hires marketing powerhouse and more

Douglas Elliman honors top Florida agents 

 Douglas Elliman recently honored its top performing agents across the country at “The Ellies,” the brokerage’s annual awards ceremony.

Top performers from Florida, including the markets of Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Miami Beach, Palm Beach, Bay Harbor Island, Jupiter, Wellington, Delray Beach, Manalapan, St. Petersburg and Coral Gables, were among the honorees at this year’s event.

Douglas Elliman Florida realized a banner year in 2019; the brokerage represented six out of the top 10 residential sales in South Florida for the year and closed over $5.3 billion in total sales, up 12% from last year.

Vince Spadea, based out of Palm Beach, received Florida’s Rookie of the Year Award, while Oren Alexander, based out of Miami Beach, was the recipient of the first-ever National Ellies Award.

Nationwide sales for Douglas Elliman in 2019 totaled $28.7 billion as the company continued its growth into new markets. The firm was responsible for 44,726 sales and rental transactions and was ranked the No. 2 brokerage in the nation by sales volume.

ONE Sotheby’s hires SVP of marketing

Luxury real estate brokerage ONE Sotheby’s International Realty has named Isadora Badi as its senior vice president of marketing.

With nearly 20 years of experience in franchise and global marketing, Badi will lead the brands integrated marketing program to build fresh campaigns and propel brand awareness.

Prior to joining ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, Badi was vice president of global marketing for Sotheby’s International Realty, where she pioneered programs that ushered a new direction for the brand, including unique approaches to connect with a younger and broader demographic.

Merrick Manor names Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty exclusive sales rep

 Merrick Manor, the only brand-new, move-in ready condominium offering in Coral Gables, has tapped Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty as its exclusive residential sales and marketing representative.
