Habitat adds to team, Vecchi + Stoka Group joins Douglas Elliman

Habitat Group welcomes new team members

 South Florida-based developer Habitat Group, led by president Santiago Vanegas, has added four new hires to its existing corporate team of 15 members.

Owner representative Gian-Marcel Adreani, who brings diverse experience working as a subcontractor, general contractor and owner’s representative for several high-profile projects throughout South Florida. Adreani will be supported by two new project managers, Jose. R. Montes and Juan Garcia.

Sales Director Ana Maria Vélez brings 20 years of experience in the Miami market. “It is an honor to lead the in-house sales initiatives for projects that are truly changing the landscape and culture of Brickell,” said Ana Maria Vélez. “Habitat has created progressive residences in incredible locations. I look forward to working with this team to help even more buyers find their next home or investment property.”

Founded by Santiago Vanegas is 2005, the real estate and asset management firm has continued to expand its portfolio to include the launch of various projects in West Brickell, including the launch of Millux Hotel, a project of two hotels with 114 hotel rooms, and Brickell Lux, a mixed-use hotel and residential project with 60 hotel rooms, 108 condos and 12,000 square-feet of retail space. Both projects will be located two to three blocks from Smart Brickell, a three-tower project offering short-term rental and leaseback options with a hotel component. More recently, Habitat Group has launched a fourth project in West Brickell, a 96-room hotel called Brickell 12. The developer will also soon launch a multi-family building, East River Living, which will be delivered in the third quarter of 2020 in East Little Havana.

The Vecchi + Stoka Group Join Douglas Elliman Real Estate in Miami Beach

Douglas Elliman Real Estate, the second largest independent residential real estate brokerage in the United States by sales volume, has announced that the Vecchi + Stoka Group has joined the firm. Headed by Giorgio Vecchi and Dario Stoka, the top-producing group will operate out of Douglas Elliman’s Miami Beach office at 1111 Lincoln Road.

The Vecchi + Stoka Group comes to Douglas Elliman with more than 30 years of combined experience and approximately $45 million in sales last year. The team, known for their expertise in luxury waterfront sales in South Florida and top producers in the South of Fifth area of Miami Beach, held a consecutive title as the number one ranked team at Brown Harris Stevens.

Originally from Modena, Italy, and fluent in four languages, Vecchi began his career in international sales and marketing at an Italian manufacturing firm with a global export reach.  Stoka is a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina and has been living in Miami Beach for over a decade.  He started out in the financial field, consulting for high-profile firms including Arthur Andersen and Ernst and Young.
