What was your first job in the realty industry? This is my first job in the real estate industry and I’m extremely eager to jump right into it.

Where did you grow up? I was born in Guyana and i was there until the age of 7 when i moved to Miami. I went away to North Carolina for 4 years of military service at the age of 17, and now I’m back in Miami.

Growing up, what did you want to be? Growing up, I always wanted to join the military. So on my 17th birthday, I enlisted into the United States Marine Corps.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I love to run. I try to run between 3-5 miles everyday.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? I would be honored to have lunch with Christ Gardner. His story about overcoming every obstacle in his way and keep pushing is very inspiring to me.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? I don’t have specific place. I’d much rather drive around with my girlfriend and sing along to country music.

What do you love most about the industry? I love knowing that whatever i put out, I will get in return. If I don’t work as hard, I won’t get much back. The return on investment, whether it’s time or money, is worth it.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I’m not afraid to fail. If lose a client, I will quickly adapt and overcome. I’ve learned to not live on “what if.” So there’s nothing to lose, whether it’s knocking on a door or making a cold call.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? The most difficult aspect would be changing my mentality once joining the industry. In order to change your lifestyle, you must change your mentality.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? I can go anywhere and meet new clients or potential clients. There shouldn’t be a specific place when you’re good at your job. As long as your professional, confident, and know what you’re doing, you’ll be able to meet new clients.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? My greatest accomplishment thus far would be founding the Professional Veterans of South Florida. It’s a business networking group focused on meeting other professional veterans and seeing how we can help each other professionally.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? The last good movie I saw was The Pursuit of Happyness.

What is your favorite restaurant? My favorite restaurant would be Le Provincal in Coral Gables, FL.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Miami? Jade Signature

What kind of car do you drive? I drive a Toyota Tacoma with an off-road package.

What is your favorite city after Miami? Orlando. I love Universal Studios.
