This Week in Miami Real Estate: Armani/Casa progress, 30 Under 30 and more

Residences by Armani/Casa, another branded residential development in Miami, recently reached the halfway point in its construction to 56 stories. The project, from developers The Related Group and Dezer Development, is proving very popular: it’s not scheduled to open until 2019, but it’s already more than 76 percent sold, according to Curbed

In other recent Miami news: 

  • Douglas Elliman Fort Lauderdale has a new managing broker in Cheri-Lynn Diamond, whose 20-plus years of experience includes a specialty in training operations for diverse organizations with successful growth rates. In her new role, Diamond will focus on educating associates to provide the highest level of customer service. 
  • The Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce recently held a luncheon focused on “Navigating the Shifting Real Estate Market.” Read more about the discussion from the Miami Herald
  • Roman Fischer, broker-owner of FPB Investment Properties in West Palm Beach — is in the running for 30 Under 30 by Realtor magazine from the National Association of Realtors. He’s one of dozens of nominees. Check out the list of nominees here
  • Though it’s been in the Florida market since the 1970s, Hovnanian Enterprises recently emphasized its focus on expanding its presence in the state. Read about the plan from the Sun-Sentinel
  • The Jade Signature, from developer Fortune International Group, recently made its splash on the market with its grand opening. The 192-unit residential building in Sunny Isles Beach is more than 95 percent sold.
