Compass Florida announces new development division

by Claire Brennan

Compass Florida, a technology-focused real estate company in Miami, is launching a new branch that focuses on taking a project from conception to sales — Compass Development.

The new division allows for expansion into international markets and the hiring of 15 new agents. Compass Development currently has six projects, with over $950 million in sellable inventory.

Five of the projects are Florida properties, including 6080 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach; a luxury penthouse designed by Carlos Ott at Echo Brickell in Miami; The Waters in Bay Harbor Islands; Botaniko in Weston; and 121 Marina at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo. The sixth is where Compass Development expands internationally — the Ocean Reef Islands in Panama.

“It’s exciting to witness this division’s rapid growth firsthand. We look forward to continuing our work with a company that is at the forefront of transforming real estate through technology,” says Philip Freedman, managing director of Compass Development.
