What was your first job in the realty industry? I started my real estate career with Coldwell Banker 26 years ago in the Coconut Grove office.
Where did you grow up? Bitburg, Germany
Growing up, what did you want to be? I actually wanted to work for the FBI.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I work out at the gym 4-5 times a week.
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? One of our previous mayors, Manny Diaz. He has always been an inspiration to me.
Where is your favorite place to hang out? In Miami I love the National Hotel and also Hotel Faena.
What do you love most about the industry? I absolutely enjoy working with people and assisting them in finding their dreams.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I feel that I go above and beyond to assist my clients.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Sometimes, getting a client to see reality, whether they’re a seller or a buyer.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? I can usually be seen at Coral Bagles in Coconut Grove, or Berries. I also network at my gym, 24 Hour Fitness in Coconut Grove.
What has been your greatest accomplishment? Being the best godparent to my two godsons. And I am proud to say that I also am the favorite uncle of my niece. I have always been very involved in their lives growing up. They know they can talk to me about everything.
What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? The movie: The Grand Budapest Hotel. The most recent book I read is called “Gut.” It is written by a German author, but it is also published in English.
What is your favorite restaurant? Soyka, close to Midtown
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Miami? Grove at Grand Bay in Coconut Grove, better known as the “Twisted Towers.”
What kind of car do you drive? A Porsche Panamera 4S
