Kathrin Rein, Director, Beautiful Miami Real Estate, Keller Williams Realty

by South Florida Agent

Number of years in real estate: Six

Describe your look: Lots of dresses. I barely wear any pants.

What do you consider a “fashion don’t?” There are really two extremes: shirt tucked inside pants (if you are a woman), bad posture, sneakers, unwashed hair, workout clothes and a baseball cap. The other extreme is a skirt that’s too short and huge cleavage. We sell real estate ladies, not boobs. Dress professional – that’s all.

What is your favorite piece of clothing and why? My Ramona LaRue dresses. They are comfortable, and make me feel feminine. I just feel like myself in them. Besides that, my wedges. I like to wear heels, but I cannot do 10 showings in a row running around in heels. Wedges are my all time favorite. I could run in them.

What do you consider a must-have accessory? A good handbag that can carry everything you might need during showings, including a measurement tape, water and a pen.

Where are your favorite places to shop? Online, Marciano or Ramona LaRue. I don’t have much time to go shopping so I count on whatever I can find online.

What, besides your wardrobe, completes your look? My smile.

What is in your bag? I have right now a leather bag that I bought at the family reunion in New Orleans. It’s brown and fits to everything. I do not like to change bags everyday so this fits every outfit/occasion.

My closet is full of…stuff I should throw out. I have clothes from when I was 14 years old. I get sentimentally attached to clothes. They remind me of the good times I had when I wearing them.

What is your style advice for other people in the industry? Please go and make yourself halfway presentable. I cannot even tell you how many times Realtors wear yoga pants, or they dress risqué. It’s not rocket science to dress like a professional. Keep it simple but look presentable.

Shoes: ALDO; dress: Zulily; earrings: Swarovski
