Greater Miami’s Ransom Everglades School in Coconut Grove is the area’s No. 1 private high school, according to a recent analysis from Niche.

The rating website based its determination on a number of data points, including the typical quality of colleges that graduates from any particular high school tend to be interested in attending; how racially and culturally diverse the student body is; and survey responses from local students and parents. Ransom Everglades scored well across the board, as did most in Greater Miami’s top 10 private high schools.
