What do you predict happening with third party aggregators, especially the Zillow/Trulia possible merger and anything with realtor.com, next year?

Liza Mendez: We are anxious to see what new opportunities will be coming for our members and the public on realtor.com. As the largest local Realtor association in the U. S., the Miami Association provides over 100 premium tools and services and will present over 4,000 seminars for our members in 2015.

Is the industry attracting more agents?

Jill Hertzberg: What happens in real estate is when real estate is hot, which it is right now, – it’s on TV shows, it’s on every single magazine, it’s on everyone’s mind – when people are selling and it’s in the paper and guys like you are writing about it, we get more and more agents. When it crashes, they can’t sell and they leave the market. What’s interesting is – for instance, I have two kids. My son is 31 and my daughter is 27. My son’s an attorney, he got his JB-MBA and decided he didn’t want to do that and got into this profession. . . And my daughter went to New York then wanted to come back to Miami and she did it. The level of people that are coming in are highly educated, are running it like a business and those people are just professionals.
