How To Be A Top Producer in Miami: Professionalism, Smart Marketing and Time Management

by Doug Pitorak

Work/Life Balance

A Miami native, Campins says the important thing for newcomers to understand before breaking into the industry is the amount of work required to be a top producer. Though she balances her time better than she did in her 20s, Campins still works upwards of 80 hours a week on a regular basis. She says delegating blocks of time for your personal life is crucial, though she still struggles to make time for herself.

Regardless, Campins puts the work in because she loves her job. To be a top producer, Realtors must be devoted to real estate as a career, not a part-time gig. Realtors must expect to work hard. Otherwise, she says, the job might become too much to handle.

“A lot of new people want to get into the real estate industry, and I think that they see the glory but they don’t see the hard work behind the scenes,” Campins says. “There are a lot of highs and a lot of lows, and being a success in this business comes down to being able to balance those and being centered within yourself. If not, you can go pretty crazy. Make sure it’s really what you want to do, because it consumes you.”
