What was your first job in the realty industry?
I started in 2003 at an office called Real Estate Empire. I then moved over to EAG Realty in the summer of 2004.

Who inspires you and why?
The person who inspires me most is one of my colleagues, Derrick Orosa. His vision and dedication are outstanding and a real testament to what an agent should be.

What is your favorite free-time activity?
I love going to the beach and spending time with my son, Sebastian Joaquin.

How did you learn the business?
I honestly learned the business through trial and error.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read?
The last great book I read was “Never Eat Alone” by Keith Ferrazi. It’s a very informative book about the art of networking.

What is your favorite restaurant?
My favorite restaurant is Berries in Coconut Grove; try the pumpkin ravioli, yum!

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Miami?
My favorite building in Miami is the Freedom Tower. I love its antiquity as it sits among modern buildings.

What kind of car do you drive?
I drive a Honda Accord Coupe, the typical “Miami girl” car.

BlackBerry, Palm or paper, and why?
Oh, I never leave home without my Blackberry.

What is your favorite city after Miami?
New York City, my hometown

What is your personal motto?
“Be careful whose toes you step on today, because they may be connected to the bottom you’re kissing tomorrow.”

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?
My advice to a newbie would be, “Just when you’ve decided to quit the business is when you’ll start to succeed.”
