At first glance, Indian Creek may look like your everyday, high-end private island off of Biscayne Bay, but as South Florida real estate agent Cory Waldman put it during a conversation with Zillow, it’s on an entirely different level, surpassing that of Beverly Hills.

“It’s a city within a city,” the Coldwell Banker associate said. “They have their own police force. The lot sizes are enormous. It’s top notch.”

This isn’t just noise. According to recent data delivered by Zillow of “streets with at least ten homes,” three of the 15 most expensive residential streets in the country are in Greater Miami, and Indian Creek Island Road was ranked as the most expensive street in the country.

Homes in the private island go for an average of $21.4 million; in No. 2 Beverly Park Circle of famed Beverly Hills, California, houses go at about $16.1 million.

Two other streets in Miami also made the cut. Arvida Parkway, Coral Gables is number 10, with house worth an average $11.2 million, and Tahiti Beach Island Road has an average worth of $10.2 million.
