What was your first job in the realty industry? Real estate agent.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Take a long walk with my family around Miami Beach or drive to the Keys.
Where did you grow up? South Carolina and Virginia.
Growing up, what did you want to be? An actress.
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Oprah. I love the fact that Oprah is so incredibly successful in such a powerful industry. She found a niche, filled it and climbed to the top by being super transparent and true to herself.
Where is your favorite place to hang out? Lincoln Road.
What do you love most about the industry? I love that there is no ceiling. You can do your thing as big or as small as you like. There are also many different ways to run your business and be successful.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? Well first, I am the other half of a husband and wife team. People tell us they like working with us because they get two agents with two strong opinions; we tell it like it is. Although, we are very down to earth in terms of dealing with our clients on a day to day basis; our team is super tech savvy. We focus on being tech savvy as a way to give our clients a better overall experience and streamline processes.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Dispelling the myths about our market and our industry.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Most of our clients come from our online marketing, referrals, repeat business and other agents around the country.
What has been your greatest accomplishment? Building a business over the last eight years that continues to grow at a steady pace each year, and one where my family can work with me.
What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? Rust and Bone.
What is your favorite restaurant? Macchialina.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Develop a business model, read the Millionaire Real Estate Agent.
What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Android app? Honestly, I am not really an “app” kinda gal. It’s hard for me to work over my iPhone/iPad. I prefer to be at my desktop.
Who are your favorite people to follow on Twitter? Jack Cotton, Gary Vaynerchuk and Darren Rowse. I am on Facebook more and I follow a ton of great pages and groups there.
